Putting Art into
Everyday Spaces

We are a public art organisation that commissions artists to transform everyday spaces.

We bring visual art into the places people live, work and spend their time.

We create ambitious opportunities for artists while making art part of everyday life; inspiring creativity, bringing communities together and changing how people experience the places around them.

Murals

We commission artists to create powerful public artworks that bring street surfaces to life.

Festivals

We celebrate creativity through artist-led festivals that bring people together.

Outdoor Exhibitions

We make exceptional visual art accessible in everyday places by bringing the gallery space outdoors.

50+ public murals ● 100+ artists commissioned ● 1000s of people engaged ● Projects delivered across Nottingham and beyond

ART FEST 2026

〰️

ART FEST 2026 〰️

Art Fest 2026 is a three-day celebration of street art, visual culture and creative communities, taking place across Nottingham from 20–22 November. Under the theme Build a City for Artists, this year's festival brings together exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, film screenings and the launch of A Common Practise, a new independent publication exploring creative communities in the UK and beyond. Through a programme of local, national and international artists, we explore how creativity shapes the places we live and how we can build cities that better support artists and their communities. Delivered on a not-for-profit basis, Art Fest 2026 invites everyone to discover, connect and imagine what a city built for artists could look like.
