Art Fest Nottingham 2025 has permanently painted our city whilst celebrating creativity, community, and encouraging civic pride. Art Fest worked with 84 artists to produce 84 artworks as well as hosting a further 32 artists in art exhibitions, altogether we brought 116 artists together. 21 new murals were created across 16 buildings as well as 3 large paint jams. Altogether 1700m2 of wall space using approximately 1500 spray cans in our city was filled - equivalent to 150 car parking spaces.

The festival negotiated 4 additional commissions from major city centre businesses as well as sponsorship from 3 national and international companies. Through our distribution of 1,2000 maps on the day we can estimate 4,800 visitors came to see the artwork.

The festival had significant press coverage from the BBC and ITV with a combined reach of over 250,000 for our radio show and TV appearance alone. Partnering with local print newspaper Lelftion by curating 16 pages of their magazine allowed for an additional 50,000 viewers. Through our social media channels and website we reached more than 500,000 people online.

Combining artistic talent with grassroots participation, the festival reaffirmed Nottingham’s place on the cultural map and showed that art truly is the heart of our city.
